A nineteenth-century mahogany glazed bookcase in the Victorian style exhibits a warm brown colour with darker shaded vertical grain sections along the right side and base. The piece stands 230 cm high, 123 cm wide, and 48 cm deep, incorporating a heavy moulded cornice at the top and a plinth base at the bottom. Two large arched glazed doors open to reveal multiple internal wooden shelves. Below the main cabinet, two wide lower drawers are fitted with small dark turned wooden knobs and white tassel pulls hanging centrally. The timber shows visible variations in tone and grain patterns across the double doors and drawer fronts. Original brass locks and keys are retained within the structure.
