Description

Stunning Pair of Early 19th Century Silver Candlesticks in hexagonal form & in typical late Georgian style with detachable sconces & knopped stems.

Likely originally part of a large set of candlesticks which was added to by the original owner over time.

These candlesticks match exactly in form, one candlestick is hallmarked KW&C Sheffield 1834, the other I&IW&Co. Sheffield 1826.

Both solid silver & in lovely condition.

KW&C : Kitchen, Walker & Curr (1831-)

I&IW&Co : Waterhouse, Hodgson & Co. (1822-1828)

Dimensions:

Base Width 5 1/2 inches (14cm)

Height 9 inches (23cm)
