Antique Silver Viking Longship Dish

This is a lovely novelty dish dating towards the end of the reign of Queen Victoria.
 
Crafted in solid sterling silver, it is clearly hallmarked for London 1896. Whilst the maker''s mark worn, it is probably by Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater. There are a couple of bruises to the silver but no tears, and it is priced accordingly. The final picture shows it with another longship dish that I currently have in stock but which is not included in this sale.
