This is a beautiful antique Early Victorian hallmarked sterling silver chamberstick with snuffer measuring 3" (8 cms) tall with the base measuring 3" (8 cms) across.

It's hallmarked for Sheffield 1845 with the silversmiths mark for Henry Wilkinson & Co.

It's in excellent condition with no damage at all and it weighs 140 grams / 4.5 troy oz.

It comes complete with original snuffer which is also hallmarked and will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.

This early Victorian chamberstick dates to 1800 and is made of solid sterling silver with a bright, polished silver finish. The piece takes the form of a small candleholder with a wide, flared circular base and a central stem, accompanied by an attached conical snuffer. Elaborate rococo scrollwork and repousse foliage adorn the base and stem, complemented by a graceful scroll handle on one side and a pointed conical extinguisher mounted upright on the other.
