This charming late 18th-century George III period finely figured mahogany bureau showcases exquisite craftsmanship and timeless appeal. The fall front with brass escutcheon and original lock, opens to reveal a well-organized fitted interior, consisting of a central door with pigeon holes and drawers to either side. This leads down to an arrangement of drawers, the bureau is fitted with four long graduated drawers, all adorned with elegant original brass swan neck handles and escutcheons. Flanked by turned reeded fluted pilasters. The piece stands proudly on bracket feet, the sides in solid mahogany, the back in original oak boards, all contributing to its classic design.
