A very elegant, decorative and usable Georgian sterling silver wine goblet of a large size. It has a lovely deep shine and a pleasing feel to handle. It is the perfect size for a good glass of wine. The spreading foot gives the goblet stability when in use.
Fully hallmarked Sterling silver, London. The period between 6th July 1797 to the 28th May 1798 had no date letter.
I have not been able to identify the maker.
It is in an excellent condition with no damage, inscriptions or repairs.
Free from any denting or scratching.
It has just been professionally polished so it is free from any denting or deep scratching.
Stands steady and true.
