Fine quality George III mahogany secretaire bookcase, by Gillows of Lancaster. Dentil moulded cornice over a pair of astragal glazed doors, the interior fitted with adjustable shelves. The lower section with secretaire drawer enclosing a tooled leather writing surface and a pleasing arrangement of small drawers and pigeon holes. Three long cockbeaded drawers below fitted with brass swan neck handles.
