This unusual French Victorian floor lamp dates from 1880 and combines illumination with a functional tier. The structure consists of cream-veined onyx paired with gilt ormolu mounts and brass fittings. An extending telescopic brass column emerges from a turned onyx upper section, positioned above an integrated circular onyx tray table with a raised edge. Below the shelf, another turned onyx column rests on a stepped square pedestal base embellished with ornate ormolu mounts and scrolling feet, complete with cast scroll-shaped feet. The lamp stands 210 cm high by 44 cm wide and 44 cm deep overall.
