Here we have a rare and amazing Victorian Carved Oak bookcase c1880. As you can see the bookcase has great colour and patina. There is a beautiful quarter sawn Oak top maximising the medullary rays within the Oak grain. There is a moulded gadrooned edge to the breakfront top. There is a well carved frieze below and lion head mask terms on the supports. The whole is on a plinth base with the gadrooned moulding replicated to the top. Internally there are six fully adjustable shelves. A superb period bookcase of rarely seen proportions in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 303 cm long 35 cm deep 88 cm high.
