Stunning Antique English Cut Crystal & Sterling Silver Perfume Bottle / Flask

Description

A wonderfully tactile scent flask, with it's deeply cut crystal in a series of star cuts within a diamond shaped lozenge.

The glass is a beautiful turquoise blue fading to clear at the bottom of the flask.

The screw-top lid is decorated with repousse work crowned with a circular cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if you wished to personalize. The interior is cork filled to avoid evaporation of the precious contents. The silver is of course hallmarked for Birmingham 1909, Edwardian in era. The makers initials CM are present for the silversmith, Charles May.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 7/8" x 2 3/8" x 1" at widest.
