Set of 4 Antique Sterling Silver Berry Spoons & Sifter Spoon in Case 1896

This is a superb set of 4 top quality antique Victorian sterling silver berry spoons hallmarked for Sheffield 1896 with the silversmiths mark for Hilliard & Thomason and a sifter spoon hallmarked for London 1809 with the silversmiths mark for Alice & George Burrows II.

We assume that somebody owned the sifter spoon and then asked for the berry spoons to be made to match - they all come in their original presentation case which shows the retailers mark for Benetfink of Cheapside, E.C. London

They weigh a total of 260 grams/8.4 troy oz - the spoons measure 8 1/2" (22 cms) and the sifter is 6" (15 cms) long..

The bowls of the spoons and sifter have matching bold fruit patterns all gilded, they all have matching patterns on the handles and they are all in excellent condition.

These fabulous spoons & sifter will come with a certificate of authenticity.
