An early 19th C. Italian Giltwood and Polychrome Floor Standing Candle Holder.  This rather beautiful Neapolitan Candle Holder has carved, painted and gilt decoration.  It has an elegant twisted column and stands on wonderful carved supports.

This early nineteenth-century Italian floor-standing candle holder originates from Naples and demonstrates traditional Neapolitan craftsmanship.
