Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Sugar Basket with Sifter Spoon 1774

Description

This is a super antique Georgian sterling silver sugar basket with swing handle measuring 3 3/4" (9.5 cms) high to the rim x 5 1/2" (14 cms) high to the top of the handle x 3 2/4" (8.5 cms) across.

It comes complete with blue glass liner and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

It's hallmarked for London 1774 and comes complete with a sugar sifter which is dated London 1790 so is not original but works perfectly.

The silver without the liner weighs 116.5 grams / 3.7 troy oz and it will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity
