Lancastrian Jewellers has dated this Butterfly Wing Silver Pendant to the 1920s.

The colour of the butterfly wings is breathtaking. The pendant, hand-painted with a view of a beach scene and completed with a silver flower bail at the top, was created by renowned artist Thomas L Mott.

Butterfly wing jewellery has a long history and was popular from the late 1800s to the 1960s. It is gaining popularity again with sustainable butterfly farms worldwide.
