Victorian Amethyst and Pearl Cluster Ring in 18ct Rose Gold, c.1890

This exquisite antique ring captures the romantic spirit of the Victorian era with its regal combination of deep purple amethyst and glowing natural pearls.

Handcrafted in rich 18ct rose gold, it features a captivating oval cabochon amethyst — foil-backed to enhance its richness and depth of colour — set at the centre of a finely detailed cluster. Surrounding the amethyst is a halo of 18 creamy white split pearls with a lovely soft lustre, each individually nestled in a castellated bezel.

The ring is finished with elegant decorated shoulders and a closed back, typical of fine Victorian and Georgian jewellery. It has a lovely presence on the hand and would make a thoughtful gift or heirloom-quality piece for a discerning collector.
