Description

A beautiful and very well made antique Art Nouveau mahogany duet piano stool / bench. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1880-1900 period.

The quality is superb, this is a useful and versatile piece. It has beautiful satin wood inlay on the front edge and on the back rest. The back and arm rests are beautifully shaped in the typical Art Nouveau fashion.

Intended for use as a duet piano stool, it would very well as an ottoman bench at the end of a bed or as a window seat. The upholstered seat lifts up to reveal some internal storage space, this is nicely finished on all sides, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had the wood re-polished to a very high standard, the seat has been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent throughout.
