Description

A gorgeous antique French carved gilt wood stool of the highest order. This was made in France, it dates from around the 1880-1900 period.

It is of amazing quality, with beautiful and intricate carving throughout. It is a fantastic size, it is low and long, perfect for use in a hallway, at the end of a bed or in various settings around the home. It is beautifully finished on all sides, so an be used as a free standing item.

We have had the frame gently revived and restored by our gilding specialist, the seat cushion has been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric.
