Superb late Victorian 9ct gold Amethyst and Pearl Necklace. Very beautiful antique necklace with a wonderful design on three connected pendants covered in seed pearls and amethysts. The central star / flower motif set with a circular mixed-cut amethyst, with eight radiating half pearl set arms, suspending a pear-cut amethyst drop with seed pearl highlights. The necklace with two similarly set pear-cut amethysts, on a fine trace-link chain. Very pretty design with floral motifs, petals, leaves and drops.
