We are delighted to offer this splendid Edwardian antique 9ct gold peridot and pearl necklace made in Birmingham 1909.

Distinguished in style and unapologetically Edwardian, this pendant features the most wonderful of Edwardian and scrolled decorations exuding classical elegance.

The pendant features a wonderful Art Nouveau style gold mount in which a central peridot is surrounded by seed pearls of varying sizes. A freely moving chain garland sways from the top section and a lavalier design terminates with a single teardrop peridot at the bottom which truly comes to life with natural movement upon wearing.

Owing to its elegant and modest design, it could be worn in many different occasions or seasons and with a variety of clothing whether be it a blouse in the summer or on top of a turtleneck in the cooler seasons.

Overall a wonderfully elegant, distinguished and classical piece of Edwardian/Art Nouveau jewellery, ideal for the discerning antique jewellery lover and a conversation starter for the keen-eyed.
