An impressive antique George III oak mule chest. The antique oak mule chest has a hinged lid (retaining its original hinges) that opens to reveal a spacious interior, with a candle box to the left hand side. The mule chest has a three panel front with two fitted drawers to the base, each with brass drop handles. Raised on bracket feet. The antique oak mule chest has good colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition overall, with signs of age and use throughout. There is surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches. Evidence of historic woodworm is present to the back and drawers—fully treated and long inactive. The top shows areas of splitting and staining, with some fading around the drawer handles and minor loss to the edges.
