An antique walnut open shelving unit, dating to the 19th century. The uprights are decorated with carved floral motifs and vertical reeding, while the frieze is finished with a shallow moulded cornice. Three shelves are framed by a plinth base and tongue-and-groove panelled back. The floral detail and shallow depth suggest the piece was intended for a formal reception room or study, offering display or book storage without visual bulk.
