This is a superb antique sterling silver 6 piece cruet set consisting of a pair of peppers, a pair of salts with spoons and a pair of mustards with spoons.
The pair of peppers measure 2 1/2'' (6 cms) tall, the salts are 1 1/2'' (4 cms) tall x 1 3/4'' (4 cms) across and the mustards are 2 1/2'' (6.5 cms) across including the handles.
All 6 items and two of the spoons have matching hallmarks for Birmingham 1937 with the silversmiths marks for William Neale & Sons Ltd - one spoon is hallmarked for Sheffield 1930 and another for Birmingham 1967 but they match perfectly - the inside of the case is also marked with the retailers mark for Sorley of Glasgow. .
The mustards and salts come with their original blue glass liners and the whole lot is in excellent condition and perfectly usable and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
