Unusual Scottish Provincial Sterling Silver Curling Stone Desk Paperweight 1955

Description

A very unusual Scottish provincial sterling sterling silver paper weight. It is marked for for Edinburg 1955 with the makers marks being A&J Smith or Aberdeen. It has been made of granite with a sterling silver handle in the form of a curling stone. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.5cm) wide by 2 inches tall and weighs 325 grams. A very well-made piece.
