Description

A beautiful Victorian solid sterling silver box. It is hallmarked with import marks for London 1898 with the makers marks being JS, it was almost certainly made in Hanau Germany. It has been superbly made being of love heart form and decorated with a shooting scene to its lid and two figures inside. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is gilded. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (3.8cm) across by almost the the same front to back by 0.5 inch (1.5cm) tall and weighs 21 grams. A very pretty piece.
