A charming Edwardian mahogany piano stool featuring a curved wraparound back rail surrounding a finely upholstered seat. The seat lifts to reveal a generous internal storage compartment, all elegantly raised on tapered legs with classic spade feet and united by an attractive H-stretcher.
Graceful and practical in equal measure — ideal as a piano stool, dressing table seat or hallway accent.
Presented in very good condition. Structurally sound, with only light surface wear and a few minor traces of long-dormant woodworm to the rear leg (fully treated). There is no mechanism to hold the seat open.
