This is a super antique late Victorian/Edwardian sterling silver caddy with a pull off lid measuring 3 1/2'' (9 cms) tall x 3'' (7.5 cms) across x 2'' (5 cms) deep and in lovely original condition with no damage or repairs.
It ''s hallmarked for Chester 1901 with the silversmiths mark for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes
It is heavily decorated all round with Roman scenes of figures carrying urns, playing musical instruments and riding on a centaur
It weighs 105.8 grams / 3.4 troy oz and there are no inscriptions or monograms.
