Solid Brass Ships Gimbal Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

A good early 20th century gimbal lamp stamped with patent number AP9009. The gimbal is used to keep an item level in respect to the horizon despite the ships pitching and rolling. Can be table or wall mounted. This model of lamp was known to be used by the Royal Navy in WWII period.

A great example, professionally polished and fully rewired in period style flex and PAT safety tested.
