Stunning 19th Century Studded Leather Military Chest

Description

This is an absolutely stunning 19th century leather and brass Military chest in beautiful fully restored condition, dating from around 1890. The chest bears the British Military badge with Lion and Unicorn and has all the clasps and handles in good quality solid brass in full working order. The studding to the chest is most attractive and the contrasting tan and brown leather sections add to the decorative appeal of the piece. This has been beautifully finished inside with a magenta cotton lining.

The chest is a very practical size for use or display in the home measuring 80 cms wide 50 cms high by 42 cms deep.
