Victorian silver watch chain and lion swivel fob.
 
The chain measures 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar and clasp are marked Sterling and have the maker’s mark for the Birmingham silversmith Charles Daniel Broughton, first registered in 1881.
 
The chain comes with a silver swivel fob surmounted by a lion with a ball representing supremacy over the world. The swivel is hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 with a maker’s mark for James Alexander, first registered in 1881. The fob has two stones, bloodstone and carnelian, some surface marking and a small chip to the edge of the bloodstone, but nothing too serious.
 
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
