Fabulous Art Deco Silver and Guilloche Enamel Jewellery Box by Deakin & Francis, Birmingham 1925

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a gorgeous silver mounted guilloche enamel circular jewellery box in a vibrant blue colour. The hinged cover opening to reveal the original Royal blue velvet interior and ivory silk lining. Raised on three elegant bracket feet. The base lined with the original black paper.

Hallmarks:

D&F for Deakin & Francis

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "A" for 1925.

Condition:

Very good.

Enamel in excellent shiny condition.

On minor scratch barely noticeable and mentioned for accuracy.

Strong hinge.

Sits evenly on flat surface.

Original interior.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 6cm / 2.4 inches.

Height: 3cm / 1.2 inches.
