Pretty Floral Design Antique Silver Chatelaine Mirror 1910

A beautiful solid silver chatelaine mirror in an Art Nouveau style.  The silver is superbly embossed on the back of the mirror with raised motifs of smooth, swirling large daisies and leaves. A textured background adds definition to the design.  The pattern continues down both sides of the handle, which has neat little loop to the end of the handle for attachment. 

Hallmarks are visible for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1910.  The lion passant indicating sterling silver is also shown along with the maker's marks for Crisford & Norris.

A superb mirror, wonderful proportions; sublime art nouveau!

Condition: There is a small spot of tarnish on the mirror itself and two tiny dints to the silver rim but generally the silver and mirror are in super condition.
