Silver and Enamel Butterfly Brooch by Hroar Prydz

1940 - 1960
Description

A gorgeous Norwegian vintage silver and enamel butterfly brooch. This example has an exceptionally pretty colour combination of shades of yellow ochre and aqua blue, with grey accents. The guilloche enamel wings curve slightly to reflect the light and reveal the delicate details.

The back of the brooch is marked 'Sterling 925 S Norway' with the mark for the well known Norwegian jewellery designer Hroar Prydz. There is a good fastening clasp at the back and the brooch is in super condition.

Period:  Circa 1950

Measurements: Height: 1.8 cm, Width: 3 cm, Weight: 3.8 grams.  Weight and measurements are approximate.
