A superbly stylish and original 19th century, tiger bamboo 3 tier freestanding bookcase, Anglo Indian or Anglo Asia original and design influence whilst a fine example of the English country house aesthetic.
The 99cm tall bookcase measures apx 75cm with 3 sang de bouef red lined rattan shelves and natural rattan stained top.

Presented in mostly excellent, original condition, it stands well and honest without significant defects or distress, most notable with mentioning would be the timeworn evidence to the rattan top, minimal staining and a small corner loss to the rattan but otherwise excellent and very fit for purpose.
