Description

A truly lovely vintage sapphire and diamond ring. The sapphire in the centre - certified as natural, unheated and originating from Myanmar (Burma) - displays a vivid and electric indigo blue. The sapphire in claw set in white gold and surrounded by 14 small and spaced apart eight-cut diamonds: enough sparkle to add interest, but not so much as to detract from the centre stone. On a slim and tapering 18k yellow gold shank.

With clear hallmarks from the London Assay.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating,and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.

Cut:? Oval cut sapphire and round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour:? The diamonds are H.

Clarity:? The diamonds are VS2. The sapphire has visible inclusions (which can be seen in the photos).

Carat:? The sapphire is 3.27 carat, with approximately 0.14 carat of diamonds.

Size:? Q 1/2 (UK) or 8.25 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The sapphire is approximately 10.0 x 7.4mm. The head of the ring is 15.3 x 12.5mm and sits 6.5mm from the breakfast.

Weight:? 5.00 grams.
