Antique Victorian Pine Trunk

A Victorian antique pine trunk or blanket box with a hinged lid that opens to a tidy interior, marked "F. SEAWARD" on the inside. The piece features exposed dovetail joints at the corners and brass drop handles on the sides for easy carrying. It is raised on a plinth base and has been recently finished with a fresh coat of natural wax to enhance its natural appearance.

CONDITION REPORT:

The piece is in good antique condition overall, with signs of age and use. There is surface wear in various areas, including age-related marks and scratches throughout. Notably, there are significant marks on the inside where the lid sits, along with additional marks and dents on the front, sides, and top. These imperfections reflect the piece's history and add to its antique character.
