English Sterling Silver Spirit Hip Flask 1938 Hunting Shooting 74g

Description

A superb English solid sterling silver hip flask. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1938 with the maker being Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd. It has been superbly made and is in very good condition being free from dings splits and holes. There are faint marks around the hallmarks and a possible faint old repair near the shoulder seem - see final photo. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.8cm) across by 3.75 inches (9.4cm) tall and weighs 74 grams. A superbly made high quality piece.
