Exhibit Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
All pieces are beautifully decorated with alternate panels of scattered hand enamelled colourful floral sprays and gilded scrolls with white borders. The decanter has its original stopper and the enamelled flowers and workmanship match the seven glasses with have gilded stems and feet. The tray is also original with the same decoration.
An outstanding original unique set.

The base of the stopper has been chipped, which cant be seen in the decanter. No other chips cracks or restoration to any piece, the gilding worn as shown but overall, in excellent condition.

This style of workmanship was copied later throughout the 20th century and is still being produced today. This set is an original early set and not a later copy.
