Rare French Pernet Solid Silver Coin Money / Paper Clip C1930 Art Deco

1920 - 1940
Description

A rare antique solid silver money or desk paper clip. It is hallmarked with French silver marks along with the makers mark of Charles Louis Eloi Pernet. Pernet operated from about 1920 making unusual high quality pieces for firms such as Dunhill and Hermes. It has been made from an 1873 5 Franc coin and is still very highly sprung. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures a touch under 2 inches (4.8cms) across and weighs 28 grams. A very nice quality piece.
