Quality English Solid Sterling Silver Pheasant Figure 1967 Hunting Shootin 394g

1940 - 1960
Description

A superbly modelled solid sterling silver animal figure. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1967 with the makers mark being that of A E Jones. Its been beautifully modelled being finely cast in the form of a male pheasant and has been mounted onto a polished green marble base. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The pheassant measures approx. 6.5 inches (16.5cm) long beak to tail by 1.25 inches (3cm) wide by 3.5 inches (9cm) tall and the base measures 4.75 inches (12cm) long by 2.25 inches (5.cm) wide by almost 0.75 inch (1.6cm) tall and the whole piece weighs 394 grams. A very well designed high quality example.
