A pretty late Art Deco (1940s) ring with ruby and diamond pastes set into a solid 14-carat gold mount. The rectangle surrounding the pastes and the shank are yellow gold, while the scrollwork and the reeded decoration next to the shoulders are rose gold.
The ring is stamped 585 (14-carat gold) and I-S. Also bears the horsehead hallmark with a letter W which indicates the ring originates from Vienna in Austria.
The ring is in excellent vintage condition.
