Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Toast Rack - 1868

Description

An extremely heavy antique Victorian sterling silver six sectioned toast rack which is rectangular in shape with wide rounded divisions to house the toast, an elaborate central handle for carrying purposes and resting on four decorative feet. This silver toast rack has been made to an exceptional standard both in quality and design and would look eye catching when used on the breakfast table. It remains in excellent condition.

Height: 19.4 cms (7.6")

Length: 19 cms (7.5")

Width: 9.4 cms (3.7")

Weight: 16.7 troy ounces (520 grams)

It was hallmarked in London for 1868 by William Evans.
