English Georgian Solid Sterling Silver Tea Pot Stand Tray 1796 Antique

Description

A rare English Georgian antique solid sterling silver tea pot stand or tray. It is hallmarked for London 1796 with the maker being Alexander Field. It has been superbly made and has been engraved with a lion crest possibly used by the Bennett family. It is in superb condition, having no dings splits or repairs. It measures approx. 6.75 inches (17.2cm) across by 4.75 inches (12cm) wide by 1.25 inches (2.8cm) tall and weighs 140 grams. A stunning example.
