Superb Wolfers Belgian antique (1920s) Art Nouveau bronze nude lamp, after the Art Nouveau Belgian masters Marcel Wolfers (1886-1976). The bronze figural lamp features a nude female with peacock headdress, one hand holding a peacock with long jewelled feathers, the other hand holding a pear-shaped stained glass shade. Signed ‘Wolfers’ on the base. 40cm high (16in), marble base 24cm x 18cm x 3.2cm (9.5in x 7in x 1.25in), Weight 8.2kg. Re-wired for UK market.

Excellent condition with lovely patina. A strikingly beautiful decorative lamp.
