Large 364g Rare Danish Solid Silver Mansonic Lidded Cup Chalice 1881 Antique

Description

A rare large Danish antique solid silver presentation lidded cup or chalice. It is hallmarked with the Copenhagen three tower mark for 1881 along with the Assay Master mark. It has been superbly designed being engraved with an presentation inscription in Danish. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, a single faint mark see final photo. It measures approx. 11.5 inches (29.2cm) tall to the top of the finial by 4 inches (10.2cm) to the rim by the same across the base and weighs 364 grams. A very rare piece.
