A pair of very large silver plated wine flagons. This wonderful statuesque pair date to the mid 19th Century and are good heavy quality pieces. Both are engraved for ''Presented by Mrs MacFadzean to the New Church and Parish of Ardrossan 5th June 1851''. One is marked for maker ''SB GG''.
The condition is good overall but slight signs of age related wear. A couple of small patches of plate wear to the raised edges and the odd minor knock. The lids are slightly raised but otherwise in good order.
