Rare Old Sheffield Plated Lidded 1/2 Pint Child's Tankard

Description

This lovely small half pint tankard is made of Old Sheffield Plate. Dating to c1800-1820, during which period this size would often be used for a child. Visibly seamed under the handle and with a good thumb piece. The tankard has a brass base.

The condition is good overall with no dents or splits. The plating is in good order with only slight signs of age related wear. With a good clean interior.

Weight approx 366g.

Height approx 13cm.

Span approx 12cm.
