The 3 drawer bureau, raised upon cabriole legs with ball and claw feet, is a fine example of a well constructed, workshop made English early 20th century furniture, retaining excellent colour with no evidence of sun bleaching or fading. Understood to have remained in 1 family since new and regularly used for its intended purpose, recently removed from a large London house.

A finely decorated bureau with raised lacquer, Chinese hand-painted motifs and themes to all sides, top and lining of desk area which presents superbly and original, a splendid decorative antique whilst very useable.
