We are delighted to offer this splendid late Victorian/early Edwardian blue enamel pendant necklace made c.1900 in 9ct solid gold.
Striking and distinguished from contemporary pieces, this pendant necklace features a wonderful blue enamel guilloche design in the centre with a fine engine-turned pattern underneath.
The blue enamel has a gorgeous hue which is elegant in the shadows, yet presents more vibrancy when exposed to sunlight with its glossy surface.
In addition to its rich enamelling, the centre is embellished with a cluster of seed pearls as if to form a flower. A wonderful accent and touch to the overall piece making it a lovely and distinguished piece of antique jewellery.
The reverse side presents a locket with a glass panel in which a photo of a loved one may be placed within.
Rich in colour, craftsmanship and intricacy, this necklace might just be the perfect piece for the discerning antique jewellery lover. Ideal both as a collectible and versatile piece of jewellery to wear as a standalone piece or amongst other jewellery.
A spectacular gift for someone special or for yourself - Pearls are known to be the birthstone for June.
The pendant locket is marked 9ct on the reverse side.
All of our jewellery comes with a complimentary hard shell gift box with a velvet interior.
Ready to wear out of the box: All of our pendants also include the photographed thinner complimentary 9ct solid gold (modern) chain so that you can enjoy your newly acquired treasure straight out of the box.
