This fabulous and rare solid silver and agate letter opener or paper knife was made by the renowned Edward Hutton and dated London 1892. The faceted agate handle an unusual and very elegant grey/blue colour. Mounted with a n exquisite solid silver blade engraved with a fish amongts reeds, very much in the Aesthetic movement style. It combines elegance with practicality.
