Description

Silver sovereign case in a square pillow shape nicely engraved to both sides. The front has a wide shield shaped vacant cartouche which could be used to personalise the case with initials. The case opens with a push button at the top an hinges at the bottom to reveal a spring loaded holder to hold a sovereign. Engine turned engraving decorates the cover of the holder and the lid interior is gilt finished. The sovereign case comes with a loop to suspend it from a fob or chain.

Condition: In good antique condition, with a very small dint to one corner of the back - hardly noticeable but mentioned for complete accuracy.
